As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with both visitors and team members. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment where teamwork and integrity are at the core of everything you do.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Interact professionally with the public, tenants, and/or employees while representing Allied Universal.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical situations, according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
