As a Security Officer - Retail Customer Service Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to promote a welcoming and secure environment for all patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
