Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Team Lead in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding as appropriate to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting any findings according to Allied Universal and client site policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
  • Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points during patrols.
  • Document activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
