As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Chesapeake, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post allows you to interact with a variety of people while providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and integrity, all in line with Allied Universal's values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with the resolution of issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and observing for any irregularities.
• Monitor the premises for any security-related concerns, reporting observations and/or incidents according to established protocols.
• Communicate and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and guests, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining accurate logs and/or reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
