As a Security Guard - Campus Perimeter Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as needed. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related incidents or hazards found during patrols or while on post.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions or information as needed, maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry points and identifying persons on the premises.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and/or local authorities when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
