Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston MA

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

 


As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to support security-related operations at the government location.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
  • Document all security-related incidents and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
