What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or breaches of protocol to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, following established procedures to support the location's operations during critical events.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted or unauthorized entry and provide a point of contact for employees, visitors, and/or contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
