Job Description


As a Security Guard - Full-Time Entry Control Driver in Kountze, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required in a chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, contractors, and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related hazards within the location.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed for incident escalation and/or emergency response.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established evacuation and incident management procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
