As a Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport in Largo, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor and report on security-related conditions, hazards, and unusual occurrences within the assigned area.
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and/or the public in a professional manner while maintaining security-related awareness.
  • Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
