What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions that may require attention or intervention.
  • Interact with the public and authorized personnel in a courteous manner while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • Follow established protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident response as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain readiness to respond to emergency situations, including providing assistance as needed until appropriate authorities arrive.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
