As a Security Officer - Evening Patrol Specialist in Mertztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions, as appropriate for a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential issues found during patrols or while on post.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
