What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain visibility at the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide a reassuring presence for customers and staff.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required, supporting a coordinated response to incidents.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations, adapting to changing environments within a retail setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification Texas only required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
