As a Security Officer – Hospital Incident Response in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
• Work may involve assignments in hospital morgue areas.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
