Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Community Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prestigious residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This is an armed and driving post, where your visible presence and professionalism will contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized individuals.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, while remaining attentive to the unique needs of a residential location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to Allied Universal policies.
  • Interact with residents, guests, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed, while upholding a welcoming environment.
  • Remain alert to security-related risks and potential hazards, taking appropriate action in accordance with site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
