Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating our commitment to teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior or activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the location.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related requirements.
  • Operate communication devices to stay in contact with Allied Universal and site management as necessary.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
