As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and provide excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access control procedures and provide guidance as needed within the location.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Remain alert to potential security-related threats and hazards specific to an aerospace and defense environment, taking appropriate action as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
