As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual circumstances or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and interacting with tenants, visitors, and contractors as needed.
  • Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Remain alert and attentive during all assigned shifts, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Candidates who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
