What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and local authorities as necessary.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized entry as directed by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft and/or policy violations, reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A customer service background is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
