As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management as needed, maintaining awareness of the unique needs within a healthcare setting.
  • Support emergency response activities, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents, by following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
  • Vaccinations are required for this hospital site.
  • Work may involve duties in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
