As a Security Guard – Full-Time Patrol - Healthcare in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when necessary, and helping to maintain an orderly flow of people within the healthcare location.
• Provide support during emergency situations, following established protocols and working with Allied Universal team members and/or client staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work at this hospital site.
• Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required by the hospital site.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
