As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious persons, property damage, or unusual occurrences within the utility location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Collaborate closely with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be familiar with access control or badge systems; this is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
