As a Security Officer - Hospital Entry Patrol in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, responding promptly to situations as they arise. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on site.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor flow to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and communicating clearly with all parties involved.
• Document all security-related activities and incidents according to site and Allied Universal guidelines, maintaining accurate and thorough records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
