As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Team Lead in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a positive atmosphere, while your communication skills foster strong relationships with those onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as directed.
• Support emergency preparedness and help to deter loss by remaining alert and responding according to established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Collaborate with on-site team members and retail staff to address security-related concerns and customer inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
