What You'll Do:

• Deliver excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment and uphold client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
