As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or unwanted behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious activity, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control at designated points, monitoring entry and exit of persons and/or vehicles as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities, following established procedures for fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
