As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Residential in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a residential community. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns as observed during patrols.
• Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with local laws and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with any additional security-related tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
