As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain awareness of the unique needs and operational requirements of financial institution locations while performing assigned duties.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
