As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
• Work closely with property management and residents to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
