As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Front Desk in Kings Mountain, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and assisting with inquiries at the front desk in an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, maintaining a professional presence at the main entry point.
• Monitor access control systems and visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for employees and guests.
• Assist in emergency response activities in accordance with location protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
