As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Retail in Redondo Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the property.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols, including guiding occupants during evacuations or other critical events.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management, providing updates as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
