As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prominent educational location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role is both armed and driving, offering the opportunity to respond swiftly and provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting any concerns according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents or critical situations.
• Prepare detailed and accurate written reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors within the educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
