As a Security Guard - Education Patrol Weekdays Full-Time in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related observations.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or the public with inquiries or directions in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
