Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the facility and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
