As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within a government location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Operate communication devices and surveillance equipment as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
