As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while upholding the highest standards of customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report suspicious behavior.
• Carry assigned firearms in accordance with company policy and training, maintaining readiness to respond appropriately to potential threats.
• Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
• Adhere to all company, client, and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of force and weapons handling.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
