As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Full-Time in Ashland, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while upholding site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
