As a Security Officer - School Perimeter Patrols in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, assisting with security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, daily activities, and any security-related matters encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
