As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Jonesboro, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with directions and information as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and emergency response activities.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
