You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to the unique needs of a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
