As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned locations and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for and report any security-related irregularities or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing entry to restricted areas as required.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents as directed by site policies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or threats in a government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
