As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking badges, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials and provide access to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by assisting with inquiries and supporting security-related procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
