Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at financial institution locations. You will be responsible for carrying a firearm and performing driving duties in accordance with company policies. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the financial institution to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Follow all protocols related to armed post assignments, including proper handling and maintenance of issued equipment.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay current with security-related procedures and emergency response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
