As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with clients and team members. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit to and from the location, verifying credentials as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting with evacuations or other procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
