What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or vendors with inquiries and access procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures according to site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
