As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Residential in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance needs, and/or unusual observations according to established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal leadership and local law enforcement as required during incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
