What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as appropriate.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence at designated entry points.
• Provide customer service to all individuals entering the location, addressing questions and/or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report irregularities.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of security-related experience, or 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
