As a Security Officer - Armed Transit Site in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor and assess activities on site, reporting any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed for incidents that occur on the premises.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, using sound judgment when addressing security-related matters at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Baton permit preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
