As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols FT in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on security-related incidents, observations, and activities as directed by site procedures.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and communicate concerns to appropriate Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
