As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Desk in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible, utilizing your communication skills and professionalism to uphold the integrity and values of Allied Universal. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
