Job Description


As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Rounds in Mobile, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication reflects Allied Universal's caring and people-first culture. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter security-related risks and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support access control procedures, including verifying identification and assisting with visitor management as required by the site.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as guiding individuals to designated areas or providing information to first responders as needed.
  • Maintain a professional presence and act as a visible representative of Allied Universal within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
